The people I work with are already performing well. The work sharpens the edge that got them there and keeps it sharp when the pressure is highest.
Twenty-five years in commercial roles, eight of them at board and senior leadership level in SME businesses, means I know what that pressure demands. The weight of decisions that never stop. The mental load nobody else sees. The distance between how well you're performing and how clearly you could be thinking.
I also work with leaders who find themselves at a crossroads, or in a temporary funk that's throwing them off their game. It happens to capable people, and it's usually a phase to move through, and not a permanent one.
Most of what's running the show sits below the surface, the habits and automatic reactions formed a long time ago and quietly shaping how you think and respond under pressure. That's the layer I work with, and it's what makes this different from anything you've tried before.
Using neuroscience and solution-focused approaches, I help leaders think more clearly, hold their nerve under pressure, and stop old patterns getting in their own way. As work grows more complex and AI puts a higher premium on human judgement, the quality of a leader's thinking is fast becoming the real competitive advantage.
Some leaders come to me on their own. Some organisations bring me in for their whole leadership team, as a confidential, embedded resource that sits alongside them consistently, every month.
The people I work with don't tend to shout about it. They just keep their thinking sharp, quietly and deliberately.
I've written about why the quality of a leader's thinking matters more than ever, especially in the age of AI. If you'd like to read it, DM me and I'll send it over, or get in touch if you're open to a conversation about mental performance. I'd love to chat!
I'm a mental fitness practitioner and accredited solution-focused hypnotherapist. I work with founders, MDs and senior leaders on the one thing that quietly decides everything else: the quality of their thinking.
