I spent years running large, multi million pound projects and programmes before setting up Covalent Insights, so what I do now comes from having had to fix things for real with no room for error.

The pattern I see over and over, the business grows, the way it's run doesn't and everything starts taking longer than it should. Work sits waiting on decisions. Nobody's quite sure who owns what. There ends up being bottlenecks for everything. That's the problem I solve.

I'm a chartered Project Professional and Chartered Manager (ChPP, CMgr, FAPM), which mostly matters because it means I have proven that I get work done to the highest standard, not because anybody in the pub cares about the letters. What clients tend to value more is that I'm straight with them about what's actually wrong and I leave behind something that keeps working inside your business.

I spend a lot of my time outside of the business working on my DIY projects (which yes have taken far longer than expected even for a project manager!), out on my motorbike when it's sunny and scuba diving aorund the world including sharks, caves and wrecks!
